Sara Martin16:24 05 Aug 22Really worth every penny... They have good deals on entry! Visited today with children between 2 yrs and 14 yrs something for all of them to do.Food it's priced well for the portion sizes even childrens meals are good!Ideal having lockers to keep belongings in, take a £1 to use these.Clean, tidy and new layout is well thought out and very good security so no children can escape to the car park!In the toilets, I noticed they even had a basket of nappies you could help yourself too if needed.Laura Arkley06:47 27 Apr 22My son was sleeping in the car so I quickly checked with reception to see if there was space as the car park was rather full. The lady on the desk was super friendly and helpful and informed that we had to book online but she'd sort it on the computer when we came in.You walk in and there's a huge soft play which is great. Walk through the doors and you go out into a continuous trail of fun and exciting things for the kids to do and play on.Castle Park with lots of tunnels and slides. Swings, go karting, assault courses, sand pits, bubble bounce pillows, helicopter, fire engine, zip lines - hours and hours of fun.We will definitely be returning.anne b16:30 23 Apr 22WHAT A WONDERFUL PLACE.Our first time here and the kids just loved every minute. So many activities for them and really well spread out.Loads of outdoor benches for picnic and a really good cafe, also very helpful friendly staff. This will be a regular day out for us.Lisa Freeman13:07 22 Apr 22Brilliant day out for kids and value for money. There's plenty to keep the children entertained, with huge inflatables, rollerskating, indoor softplay and outdoor play areas. We arrived at 10am and didn't leave until 5pm because we were having so much fun! Cafe is good value for money and food is good quality. We will definitely be back!Cheryl Williamson12:10 29 Mar 22We visited Holmside Park. For the first time, on Mother's day. We had the Best day! Our Little explorer thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaurs! It was fun to spend the day as a family. The facilities are fantastic. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. We didn't want the day to end! Definitely recommend! And we'll be back, very soon!Lewis Thompson13:29 20 Mar 22An absolutely superb place! So much to do. We visited the Dino Rextacular event and it was so well planned. Loads more to do also, including soft play, inflatables and outdoor activities. Coffee shop is great too. Highly recommended.Kenneth Kay18:57 05 Feb 22Fantastic place came on a rainy day and it kept them busy for 3 hours the staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful very happy. Good coffee to.Went on Saturday and the place is just as good as before if not better. Well worth a visitCarl Hussain18:14 10 Jan 22Always a great experience (much bigger than you realize if you haven't been before I would recommend with kids) and helpful friendly staff - my daughter loves it. Helpful tip: if your following your child round the inflatable obstacle course challenge for the nth time to beat their last record / had enough, you can unzip the side to escape and guide them from the outside! Also be sure to wrap up in the winter to still enjoy the outdoor activities which are still great and usually less busy. If you love it after first visit, live close and likely to come regular, the yearly pass is worth it, not only for the food discount but parents get to have fun too (we like the archery 🙂).Stu Davidson21:35 02 Jan 22We were concerned that Holmside Park would be a typical shabby soft play in a farm attempt but we were completely wrong. It's well maintained, clean and bright with excellent guidance and standards throughout. The staff were without exception friendly and polite, really putting us and our kids at ease. The cafe next to the soft play (which includes a nice large toddler playframe) is clean and the food was very good. The equipment is all well maintained with new climbing frames and zip line outdoors. The Fire Engine and Helicopter are maybe a little tired but it was at the end of a busy season so we weren't too bothered about that. Looking forward to going again.Lucy Richardson14:54 26 Oct 21First time visiting after friends highly recommended here, got here for just after opening could of easily stayed till closing if we didn't have to leave before then. Lots to do for all ages, very well laid out, reasonably priced food.my 7 year old boy wanted to come back today but we only came yesterday so told him another day. New favourite place of ours that we will be visiting.Amanda Ladner20:37 18 Oct 21Brilliant day out for all the family. Our 8 year old and 2 year old loved the inflatables and the soft play. Equally the outside areas provided hours of fun. A rare day out that caters for good and bad weather as enough to do inside if the great British weather hits! Strongly recommend.Ann Wallis08:04 05 Oct 21We visited with our two grandsons on Saturday & despite the weather we had a fab time. From going through the door the staff were cheerful & helpful.Dino Rextacular was great with the staff interacting with kids. We even managed to come out with all our fingers 😂Food & drink good & a reasonable price. The boys had the best time from the indoor inflatables to the new Outdoor Obstacle Course Challenge.Well done Holmside Park 👏👏Danielle Hannah11:21 03 Oct 21Visited yesterday for the first time for my daughters birthday weekend. We booked the Dino walk and it was absolutely amazing. My we loved the big T-Rex and it was fantastic how it interacted with us. There was so much to do and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Would definatley recommendNatalie Jane19:45 18 Sep 21We came today for the first time as part of my sons birthday treat and we had the best day. The staff are so lovely and thoughtful. Lots of different activities for the kids and adults to enjoy. Quite cheap for what you get out of it a full day of fun no time limits which makes it more enjoyable as there's no rush. Would definitely come again.Caroline Ryan15:23 15 Sep 21Happy faces all round, first time visiting. We both loved it, it didn’t feel like it was just a kids day out, all the family could get involved in some way! Staff happy to help and very attentive. Looking forward to returning soonKaye Jones15:06 02 Sep 21Fantastic day out, I took 2x 11yr old boys and they talked about it for days after. Roller skating, inflatable obstacle course and out door karting. Food was well priced and lovely. Staff were happy and very friendly. Definitely go again 😃Vicky Nesbit15:14 31 Aug 21So much fun for all the family, loads to do, can easily spend the full day here, food was decent, plenty parking spaces, fairly priced for all of the activities on offer. Even if it's raining there's plenty inside to keep everyone occupied.one of my fave places to take the kids.(My pictures do not do it justice)Daniel Livadaru18:02 18 Aug 21We’ve been here for the first time and I can tell you that my children’s (one 3, and two 5 years old) love this place! If were to be after them, we wouldn’t leave home 😂Very well prepared with everything: from sanitiser to food, you can find everything you need! You also receive your own socks when arrive there. To bad was raining outside because was also a lot to do there …Definitely will go again! I’m recommending this location! 5 stars from us!Anth Richardson15:08 18 Aug 21Great family vibes 💖At £14 a head, it's not exactly cheap. But if you take your own food it'll be much cheaper. £2 for a bottle of juice is a bit steep! Great facilities though and the staff were friendly.Sarah BlOooo09:38 07 Aug 21Amazing day out for all the family from ages 43 to 2 years! So much fun both indoors and outdoors!Friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy and the food was lovely from the cafe.Highly recommend a day here. Can't wait for the dinosaurs to return!Fay Kelly11:38 04 Aug 21A fantastic day out for the whole family. So many activities to keep the kids busy inside and out for the whole day! We happy spent 6 hours so we definitely felt like we got our money worth. Well managed and clean. Decent cafe with nice food and cafe options but you can bring your own picnic if you’d rather. We will definitely be returning.Aisha Abdul Hadi13:20 15 Jul 21Went here last week, the children loved it lots to do. Lovely weather. The staff were very nice and attentive. Staff were managing every activity e.g. archery, rollerskating. It helped we went on a quiet weekday and also with a discount. Will be coming again!Melanie Williamson15:51 01 Jul 21We visited Holmside Park last weekend with our Dinosaur mad 4yo boy, so he absolutely loved the dino event they had on. But even with that aside there were still plenty of things to keep him entertained all day, as we stayed from 11 until 4 comfortably without getting bored. There's outdoor play area, indoor soft play, indoor inflatables, outdoor bouncing pillows, go karts, pedal karts, giant sand pit and even an old fire engine and helicopter to explore. The fact that they allow you to bring your own picnic too is great or there's a cafe indoors and a snack point outdoors as well. So well worth a visit and definitely worth the money they charge on entry! We'll see you again soon Holmside Park : )Maria Rossini07:19 01 Jul 21It's a great place :) lots of variety both indoors and outdoors so the kids can happily spend a long time there. Food is a decent price, but there are plenty of picnic spots too. My son loves the archery, and they both love the fire truck.Anna Briggs21:45 17 Jun 21We came to toddler Tuesdays and had the most amazing time. There is so much to do! My daughter is 1 and she had the best time, we can't wait to come back. Staff were so helpful too, thank you and see you again soon 😁Leanne17:54 09 Jun 21My daughter loves coming here, she is 7. We had a real fun day out 2weeks ago it was a Sunday. Plenty to do, staff were great during this difficult time. The cafe's food is always nice and reasonable priced. Can't wait to visit again.Kathleen Birks17:06 08 Jun 21Had a great day out with my 4 boys age ranging from 10months - 12 years and they all enjoyed it. Safe facilities and set up for activities, which were throughly enjoyable for all ages and lovely keepsakes to take home. All of the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Especially Mrs claus and her elf who went above and beyond to make it a magical experience for my little boy. The hot chocolate and cookie went down a treat. Thank you for such a special visit. We already cannot wait to experience it again next year!chris potts20:36 13 Dec 20Took the granddaughter to holmeside park to see Santa, and WOW absolutely brilliant she thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely worth a visitTracy Cowan20:34 20 Oct 20Had a fantastic time with our Grandson. 1st time there and definitely be going back. Toddler Tuesday is a fantastic idea. So much variety for my 3yr old grandson. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We spent 4hrs there & he didn't want to leave.Damien Todd17:56 10 Oct 20Would highly recommend for children. Plenty to do both indoor and outdoor. Staff were friendly and the food was surprisingly decent for a children's venue.Fran Johnson13:00 29 Sep 20We visited yesterday for the first time to celebrate our grandaughters 3rd birthday and we're already lookingforwardtoour next visit. Our party ages ranged from 3 to 67 and each and everyone of us had an amazing day. The activities are excellent for all ages, the staff are considerate, caring and committed to ensuring everyone has an amazing experience. The cafe is exceptional in its hygiene and food standards and provides a varied menu at very reasonable prices. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and experience and I would recommend this venue to anyone for value for money, customer care, varied activities and Covid safe.Dean Kelly12:43 14 Sep 20Inflatable play area is huge and awesome. Lots to do indoors and outdoors. Food was good and the staff are friendly and welcoming. A good day outJuliette Penridge15:49 06 Sep 20A great find, there is so much for the kids to do indoor and outdoor to burn off their bundles of energy, the staff were lovely too. We will definitely be returningSteven Richardson16:20 05 Sep 20Was amazing for children all staff were great. Lots of fun things to do.BE kids TV15:57 03 Sep 20Great facilities, friendly staff and good food. Very clean and the social distancing measures work well. Can't fault it and will definitely be back.yvonne graham20:58 25 Aug 20Was very crowded not much social distancing. We waited about 40 mins in tha rain outside to get in. The staff were nice enough. 1 till on so spent about 45 mins of our time in there waiting in a queue to get served as there was only 1 girls on the till and getting orders sorted. Was surprised to see the girl in the chefs clothes with her hair all over not even in a ponytail. Her chefs 'whites' left a lot to be desired in fact FILTHY. Apart from this the kids enjoyed it.Kerry Brennan14:16 10 Aug 20Had a great day. Very well organised with lots of things in place to help with Covid. Social distancing wasn't an issue. Staff very helpful. Well done to the team of staff.Ryan Belchamber17:12 07 Mar 20Good mix of things to do good a good size soft play area on the inside to keep kids entertained and good amount of stuff outside as well. Seem to be something new there every time I go ( admitted this is only 1/2 times per year). Good day out recommendJimmy Pat17:17 16 Feb 20Great fun for the whole family. Lots of activities such as archery, inflatables, table tennis, soft play, roller skating and many more. Great day out when the weather is warm and on a rainy day as well.Leigh Adams17:45 18 Jan 20A really great day out for adults and kids alike! Adults can take part in all of the activities so it's great for little kids and big! Would've given 5* but the cafe was super slow and layer in the afternoon we waited over 40 minutes for some apple crumble only to find out that the kitchen never received it. Then, when they were aware, we waited even longer and in the end cancelled it and asked for a refund. No apology was given for the wait and it was almost like we were in the wrong. Aside from that, really lovely day out. Great, friendly staff who were happy to help and it was throughly enjoyed by all!Steven Reed07:55 05 Jan 20This is an amazing place for kids and adults alike. Holmside park is a warm welcoming place for all, with amazing staff and affordable food and kids meals. Anything these guys can do to make your visit special makes their day. 5 stars again from us we will be back !!!.Da kawaii cookie Playz19:36 02 Jan 20Had a wonderful day out with family. Enjoyed every bit of it. Just not happy with the big slide near reception area - my boy got hurt twice on it as it is too slippy. I noticed other children sliding down and getting up holding and rubbing their bums.Rose Gamer18:36 28 Dec 19Great day out, visited with four children with ages ranging from 3, 5 and 10yr old and something for everyone, even the adults can join in the fun. Cafe was reasonable to.Marie Miller01:13 23 Dec 19I booked online which glitched and didn’t give me a booking confirmation email like it was supposed to. The lady I spoke to totally sorted it and removed all my stress when we got to Holmside Park. We went to see Santa and what a lovely experience it was for my daughter. We thoroughly enjoyed the skating. Prices are really reasonable and it’s nice to see different prices for the adults depending on what level of interaction you want. The apple crumble and custard was to die for. Thank you for such a lovely day xxMel C16:46 29 Nov 19We had seen some good reviews on the park so we thought we would give it a go. The area with the inflatables was good with plenty to climb on. Unfortunately the indoor play area was very small and on the basic side compared to many others we visit. Then the outdoor area's were rather limited although it was interesting and good fun been able to climb into a fire engine and helicopter they have there. Both of these would have been used years ago I'm guessing, they are an actual helicopter and fire engine but are now used for the kids to climb in.Lisa Hornsey13:11 22 Nov 19Lots for the littles to do, in a contained area. The adults had lots of fun on the giant trampoline balloons and go carts outside! The cafe food was surprisingly good. Tip: Sign the waiver online before you go to avoid waiting the queue when you get there.Andrew Tait11:45 22 Nov 19Heard wonderful reviews and I guess we were expecting more. The indoor inflatable is the best part. Other than that, a standard small fun house type area and some simple pkay park equipment and old fire engine and bus.We had vouchers but feels there's no value to go again without.Leslie Creighton16:17 20 Nov 19A fantastic gem in the hills of Durham... Lots on offer, including a magical Winter Wonderland with Santa's Grotto... Well worth a family visit.Helen Metcalfe21:53 17 Nov 19Great place, loads to do for the children and adults. Nice reasonably priced food. Very friendly staffAmy Davies19:09 03 Nov 19Absolutely LOVE this place. Second time we've been in 2 months. The kids love it. Tempted to ask for annual passes instead of toys for the kids' Xmas presentsLee Waite15:12 05 Sep 19Fantastic place to visit with the boys, they had a great time. The converted fire engine and helicopter were particularly great hits. The huge inflatable barn is brilliant, gets the kids running around in a safe and enjoyable environment.Great visit, will definitely be going back.Kay Thompson12:33 18 Aug 19This place is amazing. Ages 4 plus have access to everything. They provide food but also accept picnics we spent 5 hours there playing on indoor and outdoor activities. From inflatables to soft play, sand pits, huge inflatable pillows, obstacles courses, archery, rollerbooting and more.Jayne Stephenson19:12 09 Jun 19Great venue for all ages. Inflatable obstacles course, archery, table tennis, roller skating, soft play (with the fastest slide ever) all indoors then a great outdoor area with lots for the kids to do. Really good value for money for tickets. Water and drinks were pricey so would suggest taking your own to keep costs down. We took a picnic and had it outside which was lovely. Toilets could have been better kept and a few areas looked a bit dated but all in all well worth it. Has potential to be a lot more too!Enola Stevenson19:34 22 May 19Fantastic day out with fun for every age group. The indoor inflatable obstacle course is long and enjoyable, the soft play has some great slides and the outdoor area has lots of space to run and excellent equipment to use. There's lots of space outside to picnic, though the food there looked to be nice and fairly priced with good portion sizes. What with rollerskating, archery, a grounded helicopter, giant inflatable bouncing pillows, go karts, pedal cars and more you definitely could go in all weathers and have a fun filled day. The car park is large and on even ground without bays (handy for folk like me who suck a bit at parking neatly in bays!). The toilets are mercifully right by the entrance and kept clean. All staff were so friendly, helpful, and engaging with the children.George Bruce17:37 16 Apr 19Under new ownership since January. Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure our day was memorable. Even when the big kids had run out of steam before lunch one of the staff was chasing our grand kids up & down the slides. Good food price was average. You can't take picnic inside but can eat it outside.Chris Roberts20:57 27 Mar 19Holmside Park is a great place to take the kids, plenty to do even in bad weather, food is good and fairly priced, only down side is we always have to wait a while to check in, even if only a small queue.Sarah Gallagher HYO17:53 16 Mar 19Great value for money can't wait to go in summer when can use all outdoor facilities too! Great day out!Dawn Finnigan23:55 07 Jan 19Disappointing compared to similar attractions. Food overpriced. Long process to register online and then stand in another queue to book in. Small skating rink, inflatable is good fun but not much else to hold children's interest inside or out.Emma Scott14:26 07 Sep 18Brought my nephew to Holmside Park on a quiet day. He has autism and often requires a lot of attention. The staff were absolutely amazing with him. They spent a lot of time with him, going on the inflatables and playing with him. They are a credit to the company and made my nephew have a fantastic enjoyable day. I would definitely recommend this place to bring your children. Lots to keep them entertained (and us adults 😀) Thank you to all the staff xJemma Hall18:45 21 Aug 18Great place to visit for all ages. Lots to do and fun for adults too. Free parking. Tasty food. Would like to see the price lowered a bit though as becomes pretty costly. Little boy loved here too and first place he didn't want to leave in ages.‹›
